Meet the founders
Shyamal Mehta
Co-founder
Shyamal is a computer science engineer and a serial entrepreneur with experience in building financial technology products. He has been investing for 25 years, having learned from both great and poor investment advice in equal measure. He understands the importance of sound financial advice that tends to build long term wealth.
Kaushal Dalal
Co-founder
Kaushal is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). After a substantial experience in varied roles in corporate life, he is now an entrepreneur and a strong advocate for financial planning, estate planning, capital markets and investments. He believes in building a strong financial foundation and investments with the right planning and is passionate in making it accessible, affordable and easy to use.
We came together because of our deep belief about how wealth building for long term is still a distant dream for most Indians. Financial independence, even after retirement is still inaccessible for most. And when it is accessible, people often lack awareness to make the right investment decisions.
Our diverse skills in investments, finance, technology and product gives us the right recipe for building Propel Money. It has been proven time and again, that if one continues to invest for the long term, however small the amount be, it is possible to build wealth.
All of us have been past entrepreneurs and understand what it takes to build companies and win customer’s trust. And we are here to preserve.
